Today

What to write about?

I am totally at a loss here.

It's a week after this entry and one week before next Saturday, and somehow, you all are going to have to write this post for me.

[/sarcasm]

So, what is this entry about. You tell me.

  1. How about this Tuesday (March 27th 2007) marks the 1 year anniversary of the death of workers rights?

EVERYONE! GO TO YOUR LOCAL UNION OFFICE AND GRAB A BADGE/STICKER AND WEAR IT WITH PRIDE! NATIONAL BADGE DAY 27TH MARCH 07!

    YOUR RIGHTS AT WORK!
    WORTH FIGHTING AND VOTING FOR!

Carlabalala, I didn't know you were a comrade. Well met, fellow revolutionary.
I assume what you're talking about is one year since our political "leaders" take away our right to lbalanced negotiation.

But don't mark that up as the day workers rights when down the gurgler. it's only the most recent signpost on the road Howard's Paradise.
It probably started way back when Bob Hawke decided we have an "Accord", and the unions and bosses we would all be friends.

Well, the lion layed down with lamb, and guess who had a good lunch.
But keep it up girl, someone's got to keep fighting, and I';m too old and tired.

  4. vsquared, you're never too old to fight injustice! Come join other fellow comrades outside Dave Tollner's office Tuesday 27th @ 4.30pm and protest! No physical exertion needed, just lots of bodies physically there so that "they" (ie Howard and his Cronies) can't deny people are seriously pissed off with Work"Choices"!

I'm still learning about the assault on workers rights prior to WorkChoices so please forgive my ignorance. Being a recent victim of AWAs has jump-started a passion that does not appear to show any sign of slowing down yet!
