Who's a big girl then?

That'd be me.

After handing in resumes at the only two places I knew of, and compiling my huge list of Noooooooooooooooooooo's, I offered my services to another centre this morning.

And they accepted!

Well, pretty much. I'm going in on Friday for an hour or two to prove I'm not a psycho person, and then they'll put me on the relief roster. Whoo!

AND THEN...

We went to Ikea, to spend all the money I haven't yet earned.

And I bought a bookcase!

Yes, I am crazy, why do you ask?
No, I have no idea where it's going to stay for the next couple of weeks before I move out.
No, I do not plan on moving it down the stairs for myself. (I've been assured the delivery guys will carry it up for me!)

And I decided which wardrobe I want!

I hadn't really, but then I found my bookcase and only one of the two wardrobes I'd been considering matched it, so my mind was made up. It doesn't come in til the end of January, which is fine, cos that's when I'm moving, as long as it does come in.

OMG I just realised I have to move in a couple of weeks! Help!

    I LOVE IKEA.
Haven't been there for years though. Congrats on getting some work. How exciting and scary and nerve racking all at once.

CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN! Although I'm a little sad cos it's one more thing keeping you from Ole Darwine Towne...

And I hate you for having Ikea. Next time I visit (properly) we are so going to Ikea. And Harbourtown. And riding on the tram thingies (the old one we saw coming out of Gloria Jeans, not the new ones). And ice skating.

    Starbucks goes without saying.

Congratulations from me too! And Ikea rocks. Where else would you shop? Fantastic Furniture? I don't think so.

Good luck on Friday with the non-psycho hour or two.
