Seriously, it is the most efficient way of getting to know new people.
You already have things in common:
- You're in the same class.
- You're at the same uni.
- You can pick people the same age (or not)
- You have something to talk about (school work) so you shouldn't be stuck for conversational topics. Ever.
Collaboration is good.
